Engall's Nursery, Company

Welcome To Engall’s Nursery We are specialist growers of Citrus, Fruit Trees and Roses. The nursery is located in the quiet peaceful suburb of Dural in Sydney’s Northwest outskirts. Our plants are distributed to Nurseries, Garden Centres, Chain stores and Landscapers across Australia and we also deal direct to the public. It’s that time of year again….. Winter, the best time of year to plant deciduous fruit trees. All our trees have arrived from our grower down south and they are looking fantastic. Quality three year old trees ready to plant out in your garden. Unlike other suppliers our trees are grown for us, so we have a great range of varieties. The trees are dug from the ground transported direct to us and potted into 300mm pots using quality potting mix. They are not left around to dry out or thrown in a bag with sawdust. They are potted and are already starting to shoot out white roots. Due to the shortage of citrus trees in the past couple of years, some nurseries have started growing and selling cutting grown citrus. Don’t be fooled by these inferior plants. While often they are a little cheaper they will cause much dissatisfaction in the long run. Engall’s Nursery and other leading citrus nurseries across the country and around the world have always and will always graft or bud citrus. Citrus are grafted onto a rootstock to produce a superior plant. Grafted citrus will produce a tree that is :- · Stronger and more vigorous · True to type and superior varieties can be selected · Fruiting quicker from time of planting · Suited to a wide range of soil types · More resistant to pests and diseases · Suitable to a wider range of climatic conditions · Dwarfed (if grafted onto a dwarfing rootstock) Don’t be fooled, always buy a grafted citrus. Life is too short to waste time growing an inferior cutting grown citrus! Winner of 2010 Best Small Production Nursery in NSW & ACT!
